Safety Rules and Classroom Policies
What to Wear and Hygiene Policies

ADULTS:
Please remove all jewelry that could snag or get tangled in the equipment, and be mindful of not wearing clothing that has zippers or buckles, snaps, abrasive fabrics, sequins, rhinestones, or other sharp objects on their person while on the silks. Do not chew gum in class. (all these things could not only hurt the equipment, but you as well!)
Please dress in tight fitting clothing so you don’t get tangled in the equipment. Workout/yoga pants tight at the ankles, or shorts/leotards with tights or leggings under is an idea. Shorts may be recommended in intermediate Level, at the direction of your instructor.
Avoid wearing lotion.
All lessons are done in bare feet. Leave your worries and your shoes at the door. (Exception: Divine Choreography).
Please help us keep the equipment hygienic for all. We request that students come to class with clean bodies. Only (clean) bare feet/socks on the beautiful wood flooring (inside the studio). Place your shoes at the entrance. We also have baby wipes available if you need to wipe dirty feet down.
If you are sick, please stay home. If you are coughing or sneezing, or showing visible signs of illness, please do not come to class.
Please only work on the material covered in class. We encourage you to bring goals and ideas to class, so if you just saw something amazing on social media, please ask your instructor about it first.
No gum or food in the studio please (exception of water, pretty please bring your own water bottle!)
Since the practice is physical, it is best to practice on an empty belly. Meals should be consumed at least 2 hours prior to class; snacks at least 1 hour.
Cover all open wounds or warts with appropriately sized band-aids or medical tape. If the injury is on your foot, please wear socks over the bandages to prevent them from coming off.
No videoing instructors. Students desiring to film or take pictures must have consent of everyone in the room. Be respectful of your fellow students when thinking about posting to social media. Ask for consent first!
Please come to class hydrated and fueled up! And not intoxicated. Thank you.
Pregnancy is a wonderful time, but to protect the little one we cannot allow pregnant women to participate in class unless you get permission from your doctor.
Anyone with serious medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in a yoga class. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you are pregnant or have any injuries prior to the start of class.
All trash should be disposed of properly.
Talking is allowed in class but please be respectful when your instructor is teaching and pay attention. Please keep side conversations to a minimum and at low volume. Be aware of your impact on other students’ abilities to focus.
If water is spilled on the floor, please find a towel and clean it up asap!
Take care of the entire space, inside and out 🙂

KIDS:
All of the adult rules apply to any kids aerial class, and it is extremely important for children to follow ALL instructions given to provide a safe class and enough time for each child to participate (taking turns when necessary).
For safety reasons and so children can focus solely on learning and play, parents may watch and must keep their distance from students and not give instructions.
Walking only
Only get on the equipment with instructor supervision.
Absolutely no swinging on the equipment (Spinning is allowed with instructors permission).

Classroom Policies
Students may not use equipment without the supervision and immediate approval of an instructor.
Students must always have mats underneath themselves while using any aerial apparatus.
Students must use caution and follow instructions for their own safety, and that of others. Reckless behavior will result in removal from class.
In the event that a class is full, drop-in’s may not be permitted to attend.
If you would like to drop into a class, please let us know in advance. We do not sell drop ins on our website.
Please treat everyone at our studio with respect. There is no discrimination on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation, relationship orientation, ethnicity, nationality, disability, mental status, gender identity, political opinion, or body image.
No sexual misconduct, harassment, violent or intimidating conduct, or any other non-consensual behaviour. The instructors have the right to ask a student to leave due to improper conduct.
Students are not permitted to teach other students in class. If you have a question, please ask your instructor. Do not ask other students to teach you a skill; practice only what you know.
Students are not permitted to share videos of classroom instruction or choreography from class on social media or with other students who are not enrolled in the same class.
Visitors: It is up to the discretion of the instructor of visitors are allowed to watch classes. If you would like a visitor to watch class, please ask for permission in advance.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone in the case of health or safety concerns.
Attendance Policies

We cannot ensure class availability if your class time was not confirmed.
We recommend that you register for your class early. If classes are full, we recommend adding yourself to the waitlist as cancellations occur frequently.
In the event that a student misses one class, we ask that they let their instructor know in advance to avoid late cancellation fee.
Please call us 99538740 if you are running late for class. If you are more than 5 minutes late for class, please enter the class in silence , start your warmup so you can follow us.

Payment and Cancellation Policies

Payment for class must be provided prior to attending class.
Cancelations or rescheduling must be made 8 hours before class. Reschedule your class within your monthly pass.
Late cancellations no shows cannot be re-booked.
All payments are non-refundable or transferable for any reason.
Class Memberships cannot be extended beyond their expiration date.
If a class is cancelled by Cosmic Flow Studio you will be offered the option to reschedule your class.
We reserve the right to cancel a class/workshop/event for any reason. Whilst we would only do this in exceptional circumstances that mean we are unable to offer the class/workshop/event as advertised.If should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and rescheduling
We reserve the right to make changes to our prices, discounts, offers as and when we deem necessary for the effective running of Cosmic Flow Studio.
Workshops are non-refundable.

Private Lessons

Please contact us for current availability for private lessons.
Private Lessons must be confirmed by teacher and student at least 24 hours in advance of the private lesson. If a student needs to cancel a private lesson, they must give at least 8 hours notice or the student will be charged for the lesson.

Terms & Conditions
For Online Classes

Once you book a class with CosmicFlow studio you agree to the terms and conditions as set out below.

All online classes will be held through Zoom. Once your payment is confirmed you will receive a notification for your Zoom class by email.
The teacher will need to see your form to make sure that you are safely executing exercises and poses correctly so that you can get the most out of your workout. A camera will be required in order to attend classes, and it must be on at all times.
Each student must make their own reservation. We will not allow more than one student to attend class under one person’s class reservation unless you have purchased a 2 person online class

Payments and Refund Policy for Online Classes
All Payments are made through PayPal .
All payments are non-refundable, non transferable.

In order to keep it fair for all clients we have a strict booking and cancellation policy in place.
Bookings made online are final; no refunds or exchanges can be given, so please be sure of your purchase.
Your class or session is confirmed on receipt of payment.

Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits.Terms, Conditions, and Fees are subject to change without prior notification.
Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website.
